Trainers are available to offer onsite professional development throughout the year.
A school or district may offer PD for its own staff or host
a workshop for area teachers. Graduate credit is available.
Number of Days: Workshops can range in length from one day to five or 10 days depending on school or district needs.
length: Typically runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with
a 30-minute lunch break. Participants should bring a bag lunch unless other arrangements have been made.
of Participants: A minimum of 15 teachers is required to
offer onsite training. Space permitting, 30 or more participants
Space Needs: All workshops require a room: 1) large enough to accommodate tables and chairs to comfortably seat participants, 2) able to play video, and 3) with a water supply nearby. A large whiteboard or blackboard is required. Image-Making workshops require 16 long tables and space to hang a drying line as well as lay painted papers flat to dry.
1-day Workshop: $250 per participant
2-day Workshop: $400 per participant
3-day Workshop: $525 per participant
4-day Workshop: $650 per participant
5-day Workshop: $750 per participant
*Fees include instructional materials and art materials
used during the workshop. The workshop sponsor is responsible for trainer's
travel expenses (mileage, meals, lodging, airfare if applicable).
